Eyes like a Hawk

Sharp Shinned Hawk in the Garden
A Sharp Shinned Hawk pays a visit to my garden. I encourage songbirds with food, water and greenery and the hawk has spied the garden full of sparrows, finches, cardinals, doves and plenty more. There is plenty of field nearby where I suspect he regularly hunts.

A Hawk visits

Probably looking for a little bird, the Sharp-shinned Hawk stopped in the yard for a few minutes. It hopped around a bit and settled atop my concrete frog before taking off.

Watching for a warbler, I spotted this hawk over a nearby wood. It circled once again and was gone.
